We're thrilled to have you join us in Turks and Caicos for our wedding celebration. Your accommodations at Villa Del Mar are ideally situated just steps away from the world-renowned Grace Bay Beach, and within walking distance to the grocery store, several stunning resorts, and some of our favourite restaurants.

To get to Villa Del Mar from the airport, you can take a taxi van and request to be dropped off directly at the resort. The service is charged per person, usually around $30-$40 in cash, and the drive takes about 20 minutes.

Although the island is under British rule, it operated only on US currency (USD) . Most places take credit cards, but we recommend carrying some cash for airport transfer taxis or other occasions where it may be necessary.

There's no need to rent a vehicle, but you certainly can if you wish. We'll be providing transportation during our wedding events as needed, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the festivities without any worries.



In October, the average daily temperature in Turks and Caicos hovers around 85 degrees Fahrenheit with sunny skies almost every day, making it the perfect weather for sipping tropical drinks, strolling the beach, and floating in the ocean. Just remember to apply sunscreen regularly to protect your skin.

During your stay at Villa Del Mar, you can take advantage of complimentary beach chairs on Grace Bay Beach, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Look for the blue umbrellas at the beach to the left, and the VDM beach attendants, Lerone or Kerone, will take good care of you.

If you decide to take a stroll on the beach, you're welcome to walk into any resorts along the way, many of which have several bars and restaurants on site to enjoy.

The 2-bedroom suites at Villa Del Mar come equipped with a kitchen, while the Studio suites do not have a cooking surface. However, they do include a fridge and microwave, and on-site BBQs are available poolside. With the grocery store within a 10-minute walk, you're welcome to cook at home.

While there are many fantastic restaurants to experience in Turks and Caicos, several options are conveniently located within a 5 to 10-minute walk from Villa Del Mar. Dress codes tend to be casual across the island, and during breakfast and lunch service, you can typically walk in and be seated. However, we recommend planning ahead and booking dinner reservations to ensure a smooth experience, as dinner service can be busy.

Open air beach view dining and cocktails open for lunch and dinner located across the street from VDM. You can sit bar side and walk in or book formal dining.



Just Tacos $$

Casual lunch and drinks located on the sand across the street from VDM. Highly recommend the lamb taco



The Deck $$

Casual lunch and dinner on the beach serving a variety of menu items and cocktails. You can walk off the beach and be seated. Located at Seven Stars Resort



Lemmon to Go $

Awesome breakfast, lunch and coffee shop walking distance from VDM. Its like your local Starbucks only better.



Turks Kebab $

Very casual Mediterranean offering lunch dinner and drinks located 2 mins past the grocery store.



The Terrace $$

Casual lunch and dinner serving a variety of menu items and cocktails. Great place to catch sporting games white sitting at a patio setting.



Le Bouchon Du Village $$$

Classic french bistro offering lunch and dinner. Best calamari on island, duck breast, truffle pasta, steak poivre and frits are what stands out amongst other fan favs and fresh catch seafood options. Ask Julian for Kyle's favourite wine.



Seven $$$

Formal indoor dining at the Seven Stars Resort. You can walk in and sit bar-side and order apps or off the full menu. Ronel, Wattson and Mia will take care of all of your wine and craft cocktail needs. For a more formal experience, book a dining reservation to secure a full table.



Ricky's "Flamingos" $

Casual lunch and drinks at a salty beach bar. Bare feet and a sandy wood deck. Come as you please in bathing suits and bare feet off the beach. Just a short walk towards Club Med. Great bar food, cracked conch, rum punch and beer.



Bay Bistro $$

Dinner on the oceanside serving a variety of menu items. Fan favs include the jalapeno soup, coffee rubbed tuna, jerk lamb chops and several seafood options. Best key lime pie on island and flourless chocolate tort. Need a taxi it is outside of a casuial walking distance.



Somewhere Cafe $$

Best lunch time taco and tequila bar on the beach. Bring your snorkel gear to snorkel the reef off shore (you can walk to it in the shallow water) then dry off and enjoy a margarita and several Mexican selections. Bathing suits and bare-feet welcome. I recommend a taxi round trip its a far walk.
